About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Review and verify legal proceedings and cases that are ready for closure
  • Verify that all required steps and actions have been completed before closing a case
  • Review documents, case information, and records in internal systems
  • Identify and address outstanding items or inconsistencies preventing case closure
  • Update internal systems with final case information and status
  • Close cases in accordance with established procedures and criteria
  • Monitor and track cases pending closure
  • Organize and update spreadsheets and internal tracking tools
  • Liaise with the teams responsible for resolving outstanding items
  • Ensure the correct classification, recording, and closure of cases
  • Support the identification of inconsistencies and opportunities to improve case-closure processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Law student or law graduate without an active bar admission (required)
  • Experience in litigation, particularly employment law, is preferred
  • Experience with administrative or legal routines
  • Experience reviewing and monitoring legal proceedings is preferred
  • Experience verifying documents and information
  • Knowledge of tracking deadlines and outstanding items and updating systems
  • Knowledge of reviewing and analyzing legal proceedings, court publications, and notices
  • Familiarity with court systems such as PJe, e-SAJ, eProc, and others
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel (filters, tables, and basic formulas)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Analytical and thorough approach
  • High level of accuracy when reviewing information
  • Proactive approach to identifying and resolving outstanding items
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
