About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drafting and reviewing strategic legal pleadings, including motions, defenses, appeals, submissions, and legal memoranda in highly complex, high-value disputes
- Conducting risk analyses and defining comprehensive litigation strategies for managing critical cases across different court levels
- Actively participating in meetings and maintaining direct client contact to present scenarios, risks, and legal recommendations objectively
- Rigorously managing procedural deadlines and internal administrative deadlines, ensuring compliance with SLAs and the organized handling of multiple matters
Requirements
What you’ll need- Law degree and active membership in the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)
- Strong, demonstrable experience in strategic civil litigation involving highly complex and significant matters
- Preferred: Previous experience at a mid-sized or large law firm
- Analytical, organized, and proactive profile, with the ability to manage multiple matters and work under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ease in interacting with clients and stakeholders
- Excellent legal writing skills and meticulous attention to the technical review of documents and information
