About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver amazing customer experiences through inbound and outbound calls and digital interactions
- Support regulated fresh and wastewater customers throughout their customer lifecycle
- Complete documented customer-support processes, including move in & out, billing, customer service, live incidents, collections and complaints
- Handle inbound calls and digital communications and use an outbound dialer for payment collection and debt prevention
- Identify and apply additional support services such as Priority Service Register, WaterSure and Social Tariffs
- Take ownership of complex queries and deliver clear, timely resolutions
- Perform account cleansing and administrative duties, including water saving, asset failures, affordability checks and payments
- Use multi-channel technology and defined guides to deliver compliant verbal and written communications
- Adhere to policies, processes and procedures
- Engage in coaching with the Customer Service Leader to review performance, customer experience, contribution and development
- Support end-to-end customer experience, department objectives and direct customer contact
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience of working in a fast-paced, customer focused environment
- Contact Centre experience is advantageous but not essential
- Computer literacy is essential
- Collections experience is desirable
- Ability to manage your own workload with flexibility to support all requirements of the role
- Ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and motivate others in your team
- Resilience and responsiveness to change
- Ability to react to and resolve issues through a solution-based approach
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing
- Ability to adhere to policy, process and procedures
- Ability to actively listen and deliver brilliant customer experiences
