About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage trade mark correspondence issued by trade mark offices around the world
- Manage trade mark portfolios, including monitoring deadlines, providing regular updates to clients, and assisting with maintenance requirements
- Assist with preparing and filing trade mark applications and documentation with trade mark offices around the world
- Liaise with clients throughout the trade mark application process
- Prepare quotes and cost estimates for complex client work
- Support lawyers with evidence projects
- Perform trade mark conflict checks for new and existing clients
- Work with British and international businesses across a wide range of industries to protect, manage, and enforce brand assets
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 1 year of experience as paralegal or administrative assistant in a busy legal environment
- Available to work full-time, including approximately two days per week in the office
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues alike
- Highly efficient, organised, and tech savvy
- Cool and calm under pressure
- Strong commercial acumen
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a high-performing team
- Prior experience in trade mark matters is highly valued but not essential
