About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial report packages for senior leadership using company financial software reporting tools
  • Create monthly variance reports and analyze product and department performance and results
  • Construct monthly sales, sales rebates, and bonus reports
  • Formulate financial models to support initiatives and annual incentive plans
  • Partner with accounting to understand and improve reporting capabilities
  • Collaborate with management on ad-hoc projects
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a professional environment with a focus on cost analytical experience
  • Minimum 1 year experience in Finance and Accounting process management
  • Experience in the Big 4 preferred
  • Accountant (CMA) preferred
  • Working knowledge of financial analysis concepts, practices, and procedures
  • JDE Edwards knowledge preferred
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel macros, pivot tables and formulas, PowerPoint, Outlook, and ERP financial software applications
  • Power BI knowledge preferred
  • Strong analytical and quantitative abilities, with experience in cost analysis, Business Intelligence (BI), and reporting
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to identify patterns, variances, and cost optimization opportunities through data analysis
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Ability to lead or influence others to obtain results
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, and meet deadlines across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to expand knowledge of business commercial acumen or industry trends
