About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define and execute the vision, goals, and strategic objectives for the PAC Strategic Sourcing organization
  • Develop and execute supplier risk management strategies to mitigate sole/single-source dependencies and geopolitical supply chain risks
  • Monitor market dynamics, material cost trends, and supply availability while benchmarking against industry leaders
  • Ensure compliance with LNCA Corporate Social Responsibility standards
  • Own annual material productivity initiatives and deliver year-over-year cost improvement targets
  • Drive strategic cost reduction through supplier benchmarking, teardown analysis, Value Analysis/Value Engineering, and commercial negotiations
  • Develop and execute EMS sourcing strategies aligned with product roadmaps, growth objectives, supplier capabilities, capacity requirements, and regional fulfillment strategies
  • Manage contract manufacturing commercial relationships and establish balanced business models
  • Develop and deploy commodity strategies across PAC and DPC Tier 2/3 suppliers
  • Establish Executive Business Review processes with Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 suppliers
  • Lead and support negotiation of commercial agreements
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for supplier performance, supply continuity, delivery issues, and critical supplier matters
  • Drive supplier performance across Quality, Delivery, Cost, Safety, and CSR metrics through scorecards and performance management programs
  • Act as subject matter expert for key commodity strategies across DPC

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or a related field required; MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years of combined experience in contract manufacturing sourcing
  • Experience with a multi-site or multi-business environment is preferred
  • Experience in EMS, “make-to-order” discrete production and assembly, and an industrial environment is a plus
  • Proven leadership experience in strategic sourcing, supply chain, purchasing, inventory management, and materials operations within complex manufacturing environments
  • Demonstrated expertise in supplier negotiations, cost reduction, value engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ability to work effectively in a global environment, including required work across the Asia time zone
  • Strong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to influence and engage senior leadership, suppliers, and customers across a matrix organization
