About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee clinical operations and facilitate patient engagement through visit flow, clinical triage, EMR clinical intelligence tools, pre-visit planning, transitions-of-care follow-up, and other patient-focused initiatives
  • Assume clinical and administrative responsibilities in the absence of the Director/Manager
  • Complete end-of-day tasks, including running reports, identifying no-show patients, communicating with appropriate personnel, batching tasks, and office close procedures
  • Prepare daily charts and maintain medical files and electronic medical records
  • Obtain policy clarification when necessary and use resources from other departments
  • Assess clinical staff competencies and provide remediation in collaboration with Clinical Services
  • Coordinate care across settings for a designated population and ensure labs, studies, and referrals are completed and results discussed with patients
  • Provide regular feedback and involve colleagues in quality-improvement workflow development
  • Foster staff accountability for adherence to policies, procedures, and professional practice
  • Participate in and apply research in practice and support practice and hospital goals and objectives
  • Handle scheduling, reception, front-end revenue cycle, medical assistant duties, and other physician-office tasks
  • Serve as a clinical resource for practice staff and support staff orientation, education, competency, clinical operations, and remediation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate’s Degree from an Accredited School of Nursing as an RN
  • 3 years recent experience in a clinical setting
  • Ability to initiate, accept, and adapt to change within a healthcare setting
  • Ability to take initiative and function independently, as well as collaboratively
  • Excellent computer skills including electronic medical record (EMR), Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Time management skills
  • Mature emotional intelligence
  • Project management skills
  • RN - Licensed Registered Nurse, State of Pennsylvania
  • Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting/standing and keyboard use
  • Patient care providers may be required to kneel, bend, squat, and perform CPR
