  • Collaborate in training, staffing, and practice functionality
  • Provide feedback to support team operations
  • Monitor changes from insurance providers regarding coverage and reimbursement
  • Organize work to accommodate interruptions and changing priorities
  • Perform scheduling, scanning, billing, filing, referrals, work queues, and other clerical functions
  • Conduct patient outreach by telephone and EMR messaging

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1 year customer service experience
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to maintain accuracy and compliance with detail-oriented responsibilities
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Proven proficiency with technology and EMR workflows at the conclusion of orientation
  • Ability to handle cash and other patient payment methods accurately
  • Ability to explain, educate, and support usage of the LVHN patient portal and its features
  • Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting and standing
  • Frequent keyboard use
  • Patient care providers may be required to kneel, bend, squat, and perform CPR
