Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide professional nursing care to designated patients in an outpatient facility, clinic, or virtual setting
  • Coordinate care across the continuum
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to ensure optimal patient satisfaction
  • Deliver skilled practical nursing care, including medication administration and procedures
  • Provide patient and family education and evaluate its effectiveness

  • Act as a resource for patients and family members
  • Listen effectively and give and receive constructive feedback
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards
  • Participate in clinical meetings and multidisciplinary quality service improvement initiatives
  • Maintain a safe work environment and clinical and professional competency

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing program
  • Demonstrates commitment to quality and safety in accordance with established policies and procedures, utilizing evidence-based practice
  • Ability to initiate, accept, and adapt to change within a healthcare setting
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent computer skills including EMR, word processing, and Excel
  • Knowledge and competence reflecting current nursing practice
  • Successful completion of additional orientation programs related to specialty
  • Attainment and maintenance of unit-specific competencies
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification required upon hire in Pennsylvania
  • Licensed Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania required upon hire
  • Ability to lift and carry 40-50 lbs.
  • Frequent to continuous standing/walking
  • Ability to perform role-specific activities including kneeling, bending, squatting, and CPR
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
  • 1 year experience as a registered nurse and/or experience congruent with role in service line preferred
