About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the ‘what and when’ activities of regional team members to ensure Lely Centers achieve sales and service targets, increase adoption and market share, and meet budgeted KPI performance and business results
  • Collaborate with Support Service Management and Marketing on the ‘who and how’ and align with Proposition Management and the North America Sales Manager on the ‘what and when’
  • Ensure timely communication and execution of strategies and a unified commitment to achieve desired results
  • Bring one aligned story from different propositions to Lely Centers to create a balanced Lely portfolio
  • Maintain regular communication and collaboration with Proposition Managers
  • Oversee development of business plans and strategies focused on market-share growth, dealers’ financial return, customer experience, and penetration
  • Meet with Lely Centers regarding budgets, 5-year plans, and KPIs
  • Execute the “review, plan, forecast” development model within the regional team
  • Empower Lely Center Dealers through assessment of business processes, systems, and employee management, identifying improvement or optimization opportunities
  • Rationalize time spent on special requests from Lely International and determine how and when to partner for business progress and overall impact
  • Maintain manufacturer–Lely Center business relationships, including agreement renewal, enforcement, termination, and negotiations
  • Travel up to 45% domestically and/or internationally via car or plane

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or business management
  • MBA Preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bilingual ability considered an asset (French/English)
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, PC networking, Outlook, and Presentation Software
  • Technical and market understanding with a solid commercial focus
  • Extensive background in developing and executing business plans and strategies
  • Ability to connect with people and build and maintain positive interpersonal relationships
  • Collaborative and solution-driven mindset with the ability to effectively and timely communicate, actively listen, and problem-solve with peer colleagues, management and other stakeholders
  • Approachable, positive, resourceful, ambitious, and committed to continuous improvement
