About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work closely with the Cards team across the UK Cards product
- Break down problems, test ideas and improve the product and business
- Run fast experiments involving messaging, offers, incentives and acquisition features
- Run manual experiments to validate ideas before engineering investment
- Maintain and improve the team's use of AI tools such as Claude and Cursor
- Support development of AI customer support tools
- Help Finance and Capital Markets teams
- Identify simpler, faster or better ways of operating
- Work closely with senior members of the Cards team and own meaningful projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1–3 years of experience in strategy, analytics, consulting or product
- Strong interest in technology, fintech and startups
- Curiosity about AI and new tools
- Interest in building products or starting companies in the future
- Thinks from first principles and challenges assumptions
- Enjoys solving messy problems
- Comfortable working with data and numbers
- Likes testing ideas quickly
- Comfortable working in fast-moving environments
- Takes ownership and gets things done
- Right to work in the UK or appropriate UK visa status
- Ability to work in the office 3 days per week
