About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute day-to-day AML, BSA, KYC/CIP, and OFAC controls
  • Maintain current policies, procedures, and program documentation
  • Conduct periodic BSA/AML risk assessments
  • Enhance the program as products evolve to meet contractual and regulatory requirements
  • Own periodic and ad hoc BSA/AML reporting for partner banks and internal stakeholders
  • Prepare 314(a), OFAC, senior leadership, and quarterly Board reports
  • Respond to financial-crime audit, examination, testing, monitoring, and bank-partner requests
  • Investigate unusual-activity alerts and escalations
  • Prepare internal Unusual Activity Reports for BSA Officer review
  • Perform sanctions screening, AML transaction monitoring, and information-sharing searches
  • Maintain investigative findings and due-diligence records according to retention requirements
  • Identify and execute automation opportunities
  • Partner with Operations, Product, and Engineering on onboarding and transaction-monitoring tools
  • Support front-line queues during backlog clearance and peak volume

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. BSA, AML, KYC/CIP, and OFAC regulations
  • Proven experience in a compliance function, particularly alert disposition, case management, and investigative workflows
  • Ability to analyze data, investigate alerts, and identify suspicious patterns
  • Detail-oriented documentation of investigative findings
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and make risk-based decisions in a fast-growing FinTech
  • Ability to work with bank partners and regulators and influence Product and Operations stakeholders
  • Experience with U.S. personal loans and credit cards is desirable
  • Experience with Alloy, ComplyAdvantage, Marqeta, Preset, Snowflake, or Redash is a plus
  • Legal authorization to work in the US
