About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver monthly close for the UK group companies accurately and within set timelines
  • Partner with the wider finance team and business stakeholders to prepare product-level P&Ls
  • Support commercial decision-making, queries, and month-end inputs
  • Own and automate balance sheet reconciliations month on month
  • Identify and investigate variances and unusual data trends
  • Assist with preparation of the consolidated balance sheet, P&L, and cash flow
  • Compile, consolidate, and reconcile high-volume data from different sources for month-end reports
  • Support continuous improvement of financial controls and policies
  • Assist with annual audit preparation, supporting schedules, and auditor queries

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 0-2 years PQE
  • Working knowledge of UK GAAP and/or IFRS
  • Exposure to US GAAP is beneficial
  • Strong Excel skills for high-volume ledger and reconciliation work
  • Meticulous and deadline-driven
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-transaction-volume environment
  • Collaborative, hands-on style
  • Comfortable supporting continuous improvement of financial controls and policies
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Ability to be in the office 3 days per week
