About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the problem space for an assigned product area across receivables finance, open accounting, and asset finance
  • Conduct continuous customer and market discovery through interviews, contextual enquiry, and data analysis
  • Develop and maintain a validated opportunity backlog
  • Define measurable outcome goals for initiatives and communicate them to teams and stakeholders
  • Build understanding of regulatory, commercial, and operational customer environments
  • Maintain a transparent product backlog and apply evidence-based ROI prioritisation
  • Make capacity and prioritisation trade-offs visible to product and engineering leadership
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Manager and Engineers in short, iterative delivery cycles
  • Write outcome-oriented user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting context
  • Track outcomes, evaluate solution performance, and iterate based on evidence
  • Champion accessibility, performance, reliability, and product quality
  • Build relationships with enterprise customers in banking, specialist lending, and secured finance
  • Work with Sales and Customer Operations to communicate the roadmap
  • Participate in or lead customer-facing product discovery sessions
  • Provide input into pricing, packaging, and commercial model decisions
  • Contribute to Lendscape's product culture and participate in planning, roadmap, and OKR processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Demonstrable experience as a Product Manager or Senior Product Manager in a B2B SaaS environment
  • A working command of modern product discovery and delivery practices: Jobs to Be Done, continuous discovery, dual-track agile, or equivalent frameworks
  • Ability to synthesise complex customer, commercial and technical inputs into a clear product direction
  • Strong analytical capability: comfortable working with product data, usage analytics, financial metrics and qualitative customer evidence
  • Comfort operating within a capacity-constrained delivery model
  • Able to make and openly defend trade-offs across competing demand types
  • Excellent communication skills, with precision in writing and authority with customers, engineers, and executives
  • Experience working in or alongside complex financial services, enterprise software, or highly regulated B2B environments
  • Domain knowledge in receivables finance, open accounting, or asset finance
  • Experience in organisations transitioning from professional services or custom delivery to a scalable product model
  • Familiarity with APIs, configurable business rules, and event-driven architecture
  • Experience with AI-enabled product features or curiosity about large language models in enterprise workflows
  • Multi-jurisdictional experience spanning UK and/or US financial services markets
