About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist in preparing and maintaining job schedules
- Inspect and enforce job safety requirements
- Complete punch lists and assist with new home orientation lists
- Attend construction meetings and training classes
- Ensure job site cleanliness
- Assist with model and inventory maintenance
- Assist with service-related issues
- Interact daily with division personnel, subcontractors, business partners, and homeowners
- Support construction management processes and successful home deliveries
- Use Company-approved tools, programs, applications, or systems as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or equivalent required or 0-2 years of homebuilding/construction experience
- Construction experience is preferred
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
- Must be able to demonstrate effective communication skills
- Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office products (Word and Excel)
- Valid Driver’s License with good driving record
- Valid Auto Insurance Coverage
- Regular, in-person attendance at Company communities/job sites and offices during regular work hours
- Ability to work more than eight hours per day in the confined quarters of a construction trailer
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to read plans
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry equipment which may be in excess of 50 pounds
- Ability to occasionally operate construction equipment
- Finger dexterity to operate a computer keyboard and calculator may be required
