About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive financial projects and initiatives assigned by the Finance Manager
  • Work with the VP of Finance, Division President, and Division Controller on division-wide financial initiatives and ad hoc analysis requests
  • Prepare and execute weekly/monthly data loads to the financial dashboard
  • Prepare Land bank takedowns according to forecasting and update monthly Cash Requirement
  • Prepare profit participations and residual calculations owed to Land sellers
  • Provide financial insights and documentation to Lennar stakeholders
  • Identify process gaps or redundancies and initiate improvements
  • Support development and upload of the division’s business plan
  • Oversee monthly chargeback allocation processes for telecom and other cost distributions
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of capital assets and depreciation schedules
  • Maintain and update the allocation database and identify automation opportunities
  • Develop and upload journal entries for reclassifications and accruals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or a related field preferred
  • A minimum of 4+ years of relevant accounting experience or education is required
  • Financial data analytical skills and experience preparing high level reports from raw data
  • Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
  • PC skills including knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ERP Systems
  • General knowledge of AP/AR functions
  • Ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Passion for solving business problems using technological solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to meet multiple deadlines
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with all levels of management
  • Ability to collaborate and work independently to make decisions when needed
  • Innovative, creative, and detail-oriented
  • Ability to operate computer equipment and perform physical tasks including speaking, hearing, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting, and moving/carrying up to 25 lbs.
