About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own and drive the roadmap for Lennar’s 3rd Party data strategy
- Partner across departments and domains to ensure purchased 3rd Party data meets stakeholder needs and drives business value
- Oversee Lennar’s entire 3rd Party Data analytics function
- Set strategic direction and priorities
- Drive innovation in data engineering and analysis practices
- Serve as primary liaison between the data product team and senior leadership
- Lead development and execution of the department’s data strategy
- Lead initiatives improving data infrastructure and processes across the organization
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies
- Lead and coordinate efforts across multiple departments
- Mentor and develop data teams and foster continuous learning and innovation
- Integrate emerging technologies and methodologies into existing frameworks
- Resolve complex, high-stakes problems with innovative solutions
- Establish accountability and ensure high-quality delivery
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; Master’s degree preferred
- 8+ years of experience in analytics engineering
- 2+ years of experience leading data projects, managing timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations
- Proven track record of leading successful projects
- Strong leadership skills
- Expertise managing enterprise-level data, big data platforms, and cloud data ecosystems such as AWS Redshift and Google BigQuery
- Proficiency designing and implementing data strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Mastery of SQL, database management, optimization, and complex ETL processes
- Expertise in Python or R for advanced analytics, deep learning, AI, and deploying models in production
- Expertise leading enterprise-wide dashboards and reporting solutions
- Proficiency with advanced visualization libraries and tools
- Expertise in data architecture and scalable data infrastructures integrating APIs, data lakes, and warehouses
- Proficiency leading data integration projects
- Deep understanding of data governance frameworks, data stewardship, and data management best practices
- Experience leading teams and driving business-aligned data initiatives
- Expertise mentoring and developing data teams
- Knowledge of emerging data science, AI, and big data technologies
- Proven ability to integrate new technologies and methodologies into existing frameworks
- Knowledge of dynamic pricing, prediction, and supply chain optimization use cases
- Ability to operate computer equipment and perform required sedentary-office physical activities, including lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs.
