About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Establish and nurture relationships with clients and homebuilding associates through face-to-face interactions
  • Conduct on-site meetings with customers, homebuilding associates, and referral sources
  • Assess financial data and guide customers on mortgage products
  • Facilitate the loan process according to the Lennar Mortgage roadmap
  • Strategize and implement outside sales activities
  • Generate leads through prospecting and regular visits to communities, realtors’ offices, and relevant locations
  • Conduct First Time Homebuyer Seminars
  • Develop relationships with New Home Consultants and prospective/current clients
  • Participate in builder and realtor functions, status meetings, phase releases, phone banks, and special events
  • Explain Company offerings, obtain loan applications, and attend closings
  • Recommend mortgage solutions aligned with customers’ financial and individual needs
  • Review and lock interest rates at least fifteen days before closing
  • Comply with federal, state, and company regulations and guidelines
  • Review leads daily and proactively contact prospective customers by telephone and email
  • Schedule in-person or virtual meetings
  • Maintain timely communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Originate and prepare new loans
  • Assist New Home Consultants with customer pre-qualifications and build an outside-sales pipeline
  • Meet or exceed closed-loan capture rates, spot-loan objectives, and other sales goals and metrics
  • Maintain detailed reports and notes in the loan-origination computer system, including application statuses, customer conversations, underwriting, lock-in information, projected closings, incentives, and expenses

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Highschool Diploma or Equivalent
  • Four-year college degree (preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 years of Loan Originating experience
  • Valid driver’s license and dependable mode of transportation
  • NMLS License & specific State license or be (willing to get within 30 days of employment)
  • Fluent in Spanish -Speaking and Writing (preferred)
  • Self-starter and able to work independently
  • Exceptional organizational abilities, keen attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Proficient in standard office software, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient in mortgage industry software and tools
  • Ability to attend Company communities/job sites and offices in person during regular work hours
  • Ability to work in excess of eight hours per day in confined construction-trailer quarters
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move, or carry equipment potentially exceeding 50 pounds
  • Ability to occasionally operate construction equipment
  • Finger dexterity to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
