About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Send closing instructions and closing document packages to closing agents within required time frames
- Review Loan Origination System information for accuracy and completeness
- Wire necessary funds to closing agents within required time frames
- Review and approve final Closing Disclosures and Settlement Statements before authorizing funding and key release
- Comply with investors’ and states’ closing requirements, forms, and procedures
- Check loan documents for correctness and accuracy before funding
- Coordinate closings with escrow coordinators, Branch Managers, and Loan Officers
- Interface with processors and borrowers to collect approval conditions
- Manage loan-closing timelines and funding volume to meet funding goals
- Monitor fees charged, collected, and waived
- Obtain documents and corrections requested by Post Closing or investors
- Assist the Closing Supervisor as needed
- Work with the Division Manager and Loan Officers on local marketing campaigns
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3 - 5 years of closing and/or closing and processing Conventional/FHA/VA experience
- 3 - 5 years of experience with mortgage software
- Strong computer background
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of office procedures
- Current knowledge of closing and title requirements
- Valid driver’s license
