About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, build, and maintain complex CI/CD pipelines for applications and services
  • Lead initiatives to implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform and CloudFormation
  • Work with development teams on software products in the cloud environment
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline software delivery
  • Ensure system security, scalability, and reliability through monitoring and alerting
  • Drive automation and orchestration to improve operational efficiency
  • Evaluate and integrate new tools, technologies, services, and vendors
  • Develop and maintain documentation for DevOps processes and systems
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members
  • Guide secure cloud-native application development and delivery platforms with DevSecOps tooling
  • Facilitate communication among Security Engineering & Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, departments, and business units
  • Assist with vendor acquisition, risk assessment, procurement, and product evaluation
  • Facilitate productive meetings and work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Apply writing, visual design, presentation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps
  • Expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, AWS and GitHub Actions
  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, and CloudFormation
  • Strong experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Solid understanding of cloud platforms, specifically AWS
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to operate computer equipment and perform required physical activities, including lifting and moving up to 25 lbs.
