About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support Risk Managers to identify contract risks
- Analyze client requirements during the bidding phase
- Evaluate contract requirements for technical and economic feasibility
- Support the IP Manager in defining strategies for managing intellectual property assets and assessing Patent Box tax rebate eligibility
- Define high-level schedules based on contractual milestones
- Define high-level budgets based on contractual requirements
- Manage advance provision activities for early purchasing processes
- Identify initiative clusters according to Leonardo internal procedures
- Request creation of the Project/Program WBS
- Organize the first project meeting
- Define WBS and OBS structures and identify statements of work for relevant functions
- Define forecasting configuration for items without associated contracts
- Define revenue plans and create them in the company tool
- Support analysis of contractual requirements
- Define product configuration
- Support definition of the Integrated Project Schedule
- Support definition of time-phased resource and material allocations and associated costs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in all listed project lead/manager activities is not required; willingness to learn is valued
- Good attitude and willingness to learn
- Subject to pre-employment screening under the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS)
- May be required to meet eligibility requirements for National Security Vetting (NSV), including Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV)
- Ability to undertake domestic and international Long Haul travel may be required
