Key responsibilities & impact

Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, conducting interviews, active sourcing, and facilitating onboarding
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand needs and develop effective hiring strategies
Act as a trusted advisor to team members and management on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
Address and resolve employee relations issues and conduct investigations when necessary
Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Monitor changes in employment laws and regulations and update policies accordingly
Support performance management processes, including goal-setting, performance reviews, and professional development plans
Guide managers on effective performance management and employee development
Assist with payroll, including maintaining information in the UKG platform
Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks
Maintain a positive, upbeat, proactive attitude and inspire the same in coworkers
Work on special projects and other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of Human Resources experience; with experience in the hospitality industry
Experience with recruitment, including active sourcing
Experience with employee relations, especially understanding the dynamics of the service industry
Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail
Ability to promote positive, fair, and ethical relations with all team members as an ambassador of the Level99 brand
Ability to navigate confidential matters with tact and diplomacy
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
Strong computer skills and proficiency in Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
Ability to travel periodically as required for staffing and operations in multiple venues
A reliable car, current driver's license, and safe driving record are required
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, or a related business field, or equivalent experience required
Multi-state knowledge and experience
Experience with the UKG HRIS
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems
Familiarity with Human Resources law and compliance
Knowledge of a second language, particularly Portuguese or Spanish, a plus
