Key responsibilities & impact

Take on large, complex initiatives spanning several squads and bring them to completion autonomously
Make and own architectural and technical decisions across squads
Align squad tech leads and engineering managers on technical direction through influence
Serve as the final step of engineering interview panels
Help define engineering standards at Lexroom
Work across frontend, backend, systems, and architecture problems
Report to engineering leadership without direct reports

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years in software engineering
Recent experience as a Staff, Principal, or Founding Engineer, Architect, or startup CTO
Hands-on experience designing and running complex, large-scale distributed systems
Comfort across the stack
Track record of owning problems outside your core expertise
Proven ability to drive cross-team initiatives end to end
Proven ability to shape decisions of teams you don’t manage
Experience in different tech companies, startups, scale-ups, or big tech
Fluent in English
Italian is a plus
