About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and expand relationships with key North American actuator customers as the primary point of contact throughout the project and sales lifecycle.
  • Own sales operations for assigned accounts, including revenue management, order management, settlements, supply chain coordination, and Accounts Receivable tracking.
  • Develop and execute regional business plans and Go-to-Market strategies to expand adoption of LG actuator solutions within the North American robotics market.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through market analysis and proactive customer engagement.
  • Build and maintain a strong project and sales pipeline.
  • Represent LG’s actuator solutions at industry events, trade shows, customer meetings, and other market activities.
  • Capture and document Voice of Customer, customer requirements, and market insights, communicating findings to internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with HQ Product Management, R&D, local subsidiaries, and cross-functional stakeholders to support project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and document sales activities, account progress, customer engagements, and project milestones using CRM tools such as Salesforce.
  • Manage complex stakeholder relationships and long-cycle sales processes from opportunity development through project execution and revenue generation.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher; STEM degree strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of component sales experience within technology-based industries.
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset with demonstrated ability to develop and build new business opportunities from the ground up.
  • Demonstrated experience in customer engagement, strategic account management, and business development.
  • Proven ability to lead complex customer relationships and manage long-cycle sales processes.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and priorities.
  • Ability to systematically manage, document, and communicate sales activities and progress across teams.
  • Experience utilizing and managing CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
  • Ability to travel frequently, approximately 30% to 50% of working time, including international travel.
  • Must have valid authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.
  • R&D or engineering experience within humanoid robotics, robot actuators, or related technologies (preferred).
  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Robotics, Actuator Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Korean/English Bilingual Proficiency (preferred).
