About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Participate in and track improvement and transformation projects, ensuring execution according to scope and schedule while coordinating activities with internal teams and partners
Implement, administer, and support infrastructure products and services, ensuring operational stability, availability, and performance
Proactively monitor the environment, enhancing observability, metrics, and service-level agreements while taking preventive action to avoid impacts
Log and handle support tickets, respond to incidents and service requests, conduct root cause analysis, and implement permanent corrective actions to drive continuous improvement
Plan, execute, and document changes, including risk and impact assessments, approvals, scheduling, communications, rollback plans, and post-implementation validation
Conduct technical analysis of proposals
Implement and maintain security and compliance controls related to the services under the role’s responsibility
Ensure business continuity and recovery, including backups and disaster recovery where applicable, with testing and supporting evidence
Automate and standardize operational routines to reduce manual effort and increase reliability and repeatability
Keep technical and operational documentation up to date and contribute to team development through knowledge sharing
Identify and propose improvements and new solutions
Support vendor, contract, and cost management by monitoring deliveries, service levels, renewals, forecasts, and optimization opportunities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Experience supporting and maintaining IT infrastructure
Strong experience in hybrid environments, primarily working with Microsoft Azure
Experience with data centers, virtual machines, and virtual servers
ITIL V3/V4 or V5 certification (preferred)
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) Windows Server certification (preferred)
Experience in the manufacturing industry (preferred)
