About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee Field Service operations for the assigned branch through supervision and direction of field service technicians
  • Plan, schedule and manage performance to ensure exemplary customer service
  • Support and communicate with designated Field Service Technicians
  • Oversee daily scheduling and planning to meet customer expectations
  • Serve as frontline customer contact for Field Service requests, follow-up and service issues
  • Assist customers and technicians with technical issues by phone, email and in person; escalate as required
  • Prepare service and repair quotes
  • Build customer relationships and resolve or escalate customer issues
  • Open work orders, including monthly No Charges
  • Review, approve and enter service reports, timesheets, work orders and parts requisitions
  • Monitor work in progress and ensure timely closing and invoicing of field jobs
  • Maintain safety rules and procedures
  • Liaise with Parts regarding ordering and availability
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience within the Heavy Equipment or related industry
  • Heavy Equipment License is preferred
  • 3+ years Supervisory or Management experience is required
  • OEM experience strongly preferred
  • Exceptional interpersonal, coaching & leadership skills
  • High level of professionalism and ability to interact calmly while under pressure
  • Agile and adaptable to the changing demands of the industry
  • Customer and employee centric
  • Computer proficient in Word and Excel (MS Office Suite)
  • Valid driver's license is required
