About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive the growth and expansion of Liebherr’s national aftermarket components business for non-Liebherr mining excavators and haul trucks
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through customer engagement at mine sites, corporate offices, maintenance facilities, and other customer locations
- Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with customers, industry stakeholders, service partners, and market influencers
- Develop and execute Mining Aftermarket service and remanufacturing strategies
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders while maintaining a hands-on approach to execution
- Generate and qualify sales leads
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and presentations for prospective and existing customers
- Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives
- Manage customer opportunities and maintain CRM systems
- Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitive activity
- Travel extensively throughout North America for customer engagement and business development
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Engineering, preferably in Mining or Mechanical Engineering
- 8–10 years of experience in the Mining industry
- At least 5 years in a Sales, Sales Support, Application Engineering, Business Development and/or Product Management role
- Experience and proven success in sales and/or service with heavy machinery/components in the mining industry or associated companies preferred
- Excellent knowledge and use of the MS Office package
- Experience with CRM systems
- Advanced knowledge in contract management and legal topics
- In-depth experience within the mining industry
- Knowledge of costing and calculation
- Familiarity with U.S. Import and Export regulations
- Excellent English skills, written and spoken, mandatory
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver license and passport
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 80% of the time
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
