About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the primary product champion and liaison between customers and Liebherr for Foundation Rig products
Work with Sales to make correct customer contacts, visit jobsites, and provide application and solution knowledge
Act as liaison between Sales and customers to bring Deep Foundation machines to the US market and increase market share
Develop training programs covering pile walls, CFA, displacement and mini piling, diaphragm walls, Kelly drilling, dynamic compaction, ground improvement, and related methods
Recommend appropriate foundation methods based on jobsite conditions and customer needs
Advise customers on correct use of Liebherr foundation equipment and modern foundation methods
Advise on production rates, job layouts, and best practices, especially regarding ground conditions
Provide technical support to sales staff on equipment-related questions
Maintain competitive pricing data and product information for major competitors
Identify product improvements for US applications and communicate needs and recommendations to factory product development
Operate and inspect machines or heavy equipment to diagnose defects
Repair and replace damaged or worn parts
Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools
Clean, lubricate, and perform routine maintenance on equipment and vehicles
Collaborate with Sales, Parts, Product Support, and other Liebherr departments

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associate's degree and 2–4 years of experience in a similar or related job function, or an equivalent combination of related education and experience
Knowledge of deep foundations and necessary equipment
Knowledge of Liebherr products and competing products in the US market
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Poise and confidence when speaking and presenting to groups for training and product introductions
Sound judgment and high integrity
Ability to perform duties in field assignments such as customer job sites
PC proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to read and interpret technical details and communicate them in clear and simple English
German language skills desirable but not required
