About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee the overall administration and efficient operation of Liebherr USA MCC Operations, Workshops, Rental Fleet Operations, Training, DiSC, Used Equipment Management, Sales Administration, and Warranty
  • Drive continuous improvement and exceed departmental goals
  • Promote Liebherr culture through coaching, guidance, staff motivation, leadership, training, and supervision
  • Manage procurement and distribution of production and spare parts, components, products, and related services
  • Ensure efficient operations, organization, and working environment across Liebherr MCC facilities
  • Conduct annual budget setting and strategic planning in support of global strategies
  • Build teams to achieve strategic goals
  • Set up and maintain efficient workshops
  • Support training development for internal and external customers
  • Support DiSC activities and ensure digital tools are available to customers
  • Implement warranty processes and procedures and achieve identified metrics
  • Develop trade-in and customer machine purchasing processes with the Used Equipment Manager
  • Support Sales Administration workflow and continuous improvement
  • Maintain personnel training and monitor progress
  • Supervise rental equipment and attachment inventory management and control
  • Manage inspection, analysis, and preparation of rental equipment for market
  • Develop expense controls and ensure departmental adherence
  • Improve process quality to optimize cost performance
  • Promote safety through 6S initiatives and facility programs
  • Direct, coordinate, and evaluate Operations, Workshops, Training, DiSC, and Continuous Improvement teams
  • Interview, hire, train, assign, direct, and appraise employees; reward and discipline staff; resolve complaints and problems
  • Manage 6 or more employees

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or Material Management)
  • 5 years of progressive experience in product support and distribution
  • 2 years of materials and/or manufacturing experience
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver license and passport
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
