About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and operate Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) simulation environments for verifying and validating embedded control software for large mining haul trucks
- Execute automated and manual testing
- Investigate system behavior
- Support software integration and verification efforts
- Work with Engineering staff on projects outlined in the individualized intern training plan
- Work independently and collaboratively with Engineers, Designers, and production personnel on projects and ad hoc assignments
- Travel to customer or supplier sites for training plans as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Current or recently graduated student in good standing
- Completed 60 hours toward a related Engineering Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to complete and maintain mine certifications or safety training such as Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) hazard training
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel nationally up to 20% to customer or supplier sites
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
