About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare and deliver shop floor documentation, including Production Orders, technical drawings, and quality procedures
  • Plan Production Orders, focusing on Planned, Release and In-Process dates
  • Enter and maintain accurate data within the ERP system
  • Develop required reports and maintain production records and documentation
  • Develop and manage production schedules in line with available resources and capacity
  • Create and maintain WIP production schedules for internal and external operations
  • Re-prioritise production schedules in response to changes in demand, materials, and operational requirements
  • Provide coordination and administrative support to the production environment
  • Report to the Team Leader – Production Planning

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience in a coordination, administration, production, or manufacturing environment
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing requirements
  • Good communication and coordination skills
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and inventory control is advantageous
  • Experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, particularly planning or manufacturing modules, is advantageous
  • Previous experience in production planning or scheduling is advantageous
  • Experience working in a job shop or similar manufacturing environment is advantageous
