About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and supervise field service teams delivering safe, efficient, high-quality machine shutdowns, outages and project work
  • Coordinate project activities, workforce requirements and forward planning
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships while providing service and site support
  • Drive a positive safety culture through leadership, compliance, housekeeping standards and safe work practices
  • Monitor team productivity and performance to ensure projects are completed on schedule and to the required standard
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute to operational excellence across service delivery
  • Deliver major shutdown and maintenance activities on mining equipment across NSW
  • Work closely with technicians, customers and site stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Relevant trade qualification in Mobile Plant Technology, or Automotive Electrical Technology
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams in mining, heavy industry, field service, shutdowns or major maintenance environments
  • Strong planning and scheduling skills, with the ability to coordinate personnel, resources, and project activities
  • Sound computer and intermediate keyboard skills, including the ability to manage project documentation and reporting requirements
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and site-based teams
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement, with the ability to lead by example in high-risk work environments
  • Successful applicants progressing past interview stage must undergo National Police Clearance and Medical Screening, including drug and alcohol testing
