About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as an additional support resource for field service technicians to foster employee engagement, teamwork, and performance
  • Schedule field service technicians on a daily basis to ensure resources are properly allocated to meet and exceed customer expectations
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding service requests, follow-ups, and service-related issues
  • Accurately prepare service and repair quotations for customers
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships and resolve issues on the first contact or, when necessary, escalate them to the service supervisor or manager
  • Proactively open work orders when required
  • Review, approve, and enter service reports, time sheets, work orders, and parts requests as needed
  • Follow up on, review, and maximize efforts related to work in progress (WIP) on a daily basis to maintain an appropriate level of WIP
  • Collaborate with the Parts Department regarding parts orders and availability to ensure work is completed within the scheduled timeframe
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills are required
  • A high level of professionalism and the ability to interact calmly under pressure
  • Experience in administration, order processing, and customer service
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and the MS Office suite
  • Demonstrated flexibility and the ability to adapt to customer and business needs
