About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work as a permanent residential Field Service Technician based on site at Boggabri Coal in the Gunnedah Region of NSW
- Follow a 4/5/5/4 roster pattern with day and night shift rotation
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic faults on site machines
- Carry out major and minor services on site machines
- Perform maintenance and component replacements
- Complete machine health assessments and appropriate reporting
- Accurately complete timesheets, maintenance requests, and site-specific documentation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Trade qualified as Diesel / Mobile Plant Mechanic
- Certificate III Mobile Plant Technology, Certificate III Engineering (Mechanical), Certificate III Engineering (Mechanical) Diesel Fitter, or Certificate III Automotive Electrical Technology
- Demonstrated diagnostics and fault-finding knowledge
- Motivation and excellent communication skills
- Previous experience in a similar role working with heavy machinery, including R9300, R9400 & R9800 Liebherr Excavators
- A current driver’s licence
- Ideally suited to candidates living locally in the Gunnedah Region of NSW
