About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Confirm the validity of warranty claims and maximise recovery of labour, materials, spare parts, and subcontract items
  • Prepare accurate warranty claims for suppliers
  • Investigate claim and component validity, obtain information from depots, and communicate with factories
  • Prepare documentation for returning failed parts to factories
  • Maintain relationships between suppliers, factories, and internal departments in the UK and abroad
  • Issue credit note requests
  • Prepare, distribute, and monitor Extended Warranty and Contract documentation
  • Monitor and report on Service Information progress
  • Prepare departmental reports and statistics
  • Collect data and report on Key Account customer performance
  • Support machine performance activities using the Liebherr LiDAT telematics system
  • Support the After Sales department with travel and hotel bookings
  • Undertake other tasks as required
  • Work in accordance with Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental policies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Previous experience in warranty administration, service coordination, aftersales support, or a similar administrative role
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately process claims, documentation, reports, and data
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising effectively with suppliers, manufacturers, internal departments, and customers
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with experience producing reports and analysing performance data
  • Ability to investigate and challenge information, identify discrepancies, and ensure claims meet supplier requirements
  • Ideally experienced within engineering, construction equipment, automotive, plant, agricultural machinery, or a technical aftersales environment
