About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute a territory business plan in partnership with sales leadership
  • Drive new and existing church partnerships through cold calling, networking, and consultative selling
  • Prospect and qualify new church accounts using inbound and outbound lead generation strategies
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
  • Build trust-based relationships with key church stakeholders
  • Guide church stakeholders toward Lifeway solutions aligned with their ministry goals
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach through close
  • Meet or exceed revenue targets
  • Deliver accurate monthly and quarterly revenue forecasts based on pipeline data and business understanding
  • Maintain current records of sales activity, contacts, and opportunities in Salesforce
  • Monitor competitive and market trends and share insights with sales leadership and peers
  • Provide feedback on sales materials and internal processes
  • Live out Lifeway’s mission and values with commitment to Kingdom work

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Qualified candidates must already be located in the assigned territory (CO, AZ, and NM)
  • Available for regular local and overnight travel within the assigned territory
  • 3+ years of experience selling value-based products or services
  • Proven cold calling skills with a track record of building rapport and initiating meaningful conversations
  • Experience with inbound and outbound lead generation strategies
  • Demonstrated success in outside or field sales, including relationship building, deal closing, and exceeding targets
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills across multiple leadership levels
  • Consultative selling approach and ability to assess needs and present tailored solutions
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a track record of individual and team performance
  • Actively involved in an evangelical Christian church
  • Prior CRM platform experience preferred, with strong preference for Salesforce
  • Demonstrated success in new customer acquisition in a fast-paced, performance-based sales environment preferred
  • Familiarity with the local church landscape and ministry operations preferred
  • Heart for the local church and mission-driven sales contexts preferred
