Outside Sales Representative

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver individual and company sales goals through professional sales techniques and exceptional customer service
- Maintain quality relationships with existing accounts
- Target and acquire new customers
- Provide sales and marketing coverage in the dedicated sales territory
- Collaborate internally to develop and maintain trusted relationships with mid- and senior-level managers and other key personnel
- Develop maximum sales potential from the assigned territory through competitive sales techniques and knowledge of company products, services, and competitors
- Increase account base and sales volume consistently
- Reevaluate work to increase market share
- Assess offerings and communicate strategies to Management to increase market share
- Develop expertise regarding local projects, market conditions, products, services, and new technologies
- Deliver prompt follow-up and correspondence with internal and external stakeholders
- Use Liftware CRM to maintain organized activity documentation
- Complete and submit daily sales reports covering account activity, outstanding proposals, secured proposals, and lost proposals
- Provide customer information and follow-up as requested
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 3 years B2B or non-retail sales experience required
- Industrial equipment and/or general rigging knowledge strongly preferred
- Industrial Construction and Maintenance knowledge strongly preferred
- Outside Sales experience in equipment rentals a plus
- Valid Driver’s License with good driving record required
- Must meet insurance underwriting requirements
- Must be able to visit existing and prospective customers in assigned territory daily
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must pass criminal background and driving history check
- Must pass verification of employment history
- Must pass hair follicle drug test
- Must reside in the Milwaukee / Appleton / Green Bay area
