About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the design, modeling, simulation, development, and validation of embedded electrical systems
  • Develop circuit cards and power/signal conversion systems
  • Architect embedded platforms with power regulation and digital communication subsystems
  • Ensure performance, reliability, manufacturability, and regulatory compliance
  • Direct technical design reviews and define electrical system requirements
  • Own electrical architecture decisions from concept through production
  • Align technology with product roadmaps and business objectives
  • Oversee prototype builds, compliance testing, and production ramp
  • Interface with suppliers for vendor qualification and product launch support
  • Provide sustainment support for fielded hardware products
  • Perform advanced electrical analysis and validate signal integrity, power integrity, EMI/EMC performance, and system robustness
  • Support pre-compliance and formal certification testing, documentation, and remediation
  • Lead failure analysis and root cause investigations
  • Troubleshoot system-level issues in laboratory and field environments
  • Diagnose EMI, ESD, grounding, and safety-related issues
  • Implement corrective actions and continuous product improvements
  • Mentor junior engineers and guide design methodology
  • Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, manufacturing, compliance, and quality teams
  • Serve as a subject matter expert across the organization

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in electrical system design, development, or testing
  • Demonstrated experience taking products from concept through NPI and production release
  • Experience supporting regulatory certification and compliance testing
  • Deep knowledge of embedded system architecture
  • Strong experience in high-speed digital design, power regulation/conversion, and high-density PCB layout
  • Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB CAD tools, such as Altium Designer or equivalent
  • Experience with simulation and analysis tools, such as HFSS, ADS, or similar
  • Expertise in RS-232, RS-485, Ethernet, and USB interfaces
  • Working knowledge of IEC, FCC Part 15, and CE safety and EMC standards
  • Experience designing for EMI mitigation, grounding, shielding, filtering, and surge protection
  • Ability to meet physical requirements including sitting, standing, walking, bending, computer operation, and specific vision abilities
  • Consent to due diligence/background investigation as a prerequisite to employment, to the extent permitted by law
  • May be required to obtain gaming or other licenses, undergo background investigations or security checks, and meet applicable legal, regulatory, or contractual standards
