About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Complete a unique 10-week sales internship focused on hands-on pharmaceutical selling experience
- Complete part of sales training at home and travel to Indianapolis for one week of additional training and corporate culture experience
- Manage an assigned territory
- Call on physicians
- Sell one of Lilly’s pharmaceutical products
- Integrate into a District team
- Work with an assigned mentor on territory management and selling skills
- Participate in intern activities for socializing, professional development, and learning about Lilly
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3 years of undergraduate studies toward a bachelor’s degree, or pursuing a master’s degree, with expected graduation between May 2027 and August 2028
- Pharmacy students currently enrolled in a pharmacy program, in their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year, with expected graduation between May 2027 and August 2029
- Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
- Lilly will not provide work authorization or visa sponsorship
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and acceptable driving record required
- Knowledge of or experience with the sales process
- Highly motivated
- Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills
- Leadership ability
- Ability to learn, apply, and communicate technical/scientific knowledge
- Strong influence, persuasion, and negotiation skills
