About the role

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Native-level proficiency in Mongolian
  • A graduate qualification in translation, linguistics, or language studies, OR a graduate qualification in another field plus 2 years of full-time professional translation experience, OR 5 years of full-time professional translation experience
  • Ability to follow terminology and reference materials precisely
  • Proven professional experience in translation and localization within marketing, UI/software, or e-commerce content
  • Experience with app or platform localization preferred
  • Reliable availability and commitment; most tasks require a minimum of 2 hours per day or 10 hours per week
  • CV must be submitted in English
  • Must complete a domain-specific test if required
  • Cannot be engaged in regions subject to international embargo or sanctions
  • Responsible for own tax obligations as a 1099 contractor
