About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Join Lilt’s Medical Talent Community as a Hebrew medical translator
- Translate and review high-stakes medical and regulatory content
- Adapt and validate target text to meet compliance standards
- Apply Life Sciences expertise to pharmaceutical, medical device, and biotechnology content
- Work with Patient Records and Clinical Protocols
- Follow strict GxP procedures and ISO 17100 quality standards
- Complete experience verification, compliance audit, and specialized assessment steps
- Contribute to Lilt’s AI and language technology projects serving enterprises, governments, and AI developers
- Deliver accepted tasks with high quality and on-time delivery
Requirements
What you’ll need- Senior linguists with a proven track record specifically within the Life Sciences vertical
- Native-level proficiency in the target language(s)
- Currently based in the United States of America
- A graduate qualification in translation, linguistics, or language studies, OR a graduate qualification in another field plus 2 years of full-time professional translation experience, OR 5 years of full-time professional translation experience
- Ability to follow terminology and reference materials precisely
- Professional experience in translation and localization within the Medical/Life Sciences domains
- Experience with pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or biotechnology
- Ability to work within strict GxP environments
- Adherence to ISO 17100 quality standards
- Reliable availability and commitment; most tasks require a minimum of 2 hours per day or 10 hours per week
- English-language Resume/C.V. required for application
- Experience verification through a project list or references highlighting past work in regulated medical markets
- Familiarity with relevant local regulations
- Successful completion of a domain-specific translation or review test
- Contractors must comply with applicable geographic restrictions, international embargoes, and sanctions
- Contractors are responsible for their own tax obligations as 1099 contractors
