Key responsibilities & impact- Join Lilt's Medical Talent Community as a Spanish (United States) medical translator
- Adapt and validate target text to meet regulatory compliance standards
- Translate and review content for pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and biotechnology
- Work with Patient Records and Clinical Protocols
- Operate within strict GxP environments and adhere to ISO 17100 quality standards
- Follow terminology and reference materials precisely
- Provide project lists or references for experience verification
- Complete a compliance audit covering relevant local regulations
- Complete a specialized domain-specific translation or review assessment
- Deliver quality work on accepted tasks within agreed deadlines
- Contribute to AI and language technology that supports multilingual communication
Requirements
What you’ll need- Native-level proficiency in the target language(s)
- Currently based in the United States of America
- A graduate qualification in translation, linguistics, or language studies, OR a graduate qualification in another field plus 2 years of full-time professional translation experience, OR 5 years of full-time professional translation experience
- Ability to follow terminology and reference materials precisely
- Professional experience in translation and localization within the Medical/Life Sciences domains
- Demonstrable experience translating for pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or biotechnology
- Experience with Patient Records and Clinical Protocols
- Ability to work within strict GxP environments
- Adherence to ISO 17100 quality standards
- Reliable availability and commitment to on-time delivery
- Most tasks require a minimum of 2 hours per day or 10 hours per week
- English-language Resume/C.V. required
- Project list or references highlighting past work in regulated medical markets
- Familiarity with relevant local regulations
- Successful completion of a domain-specific translation or review test
