About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with the Director of People and Culture and People and Culture Manager to support DreamYard staff and maintain organizational compliance
  • Support overall People and Culture workflow
  • Manage People and Culture task management tracking systems
  • Create and maintain a calendar of People and Culture events
  • Manage logistics for retreats, orientations, interviews, and team meetings
  • Maintain physical and digital employee files and records
  • Track and maintain compliance documentation, including PETS clearance and harassment prevention training
  • Conduct background research for People and Culture projects
  • Pull reports as needed
  • Maintain files and templates for performance reviews, job descriptions, mediations, terminations, and onboarding/offboarding meetings
  • Track participation and maintain files for performance evaluations and goals
  • Assist with the Applicant Tracking System and hiring process
  • Track staff birthdays, anniversaries, and new hires for reports and recognition programs
  • Manage gift and e-card distribution for recognition programs
  • Copyedit People and Culture documents
  • Perform other duties assigned by management

Requirements

  • 1 year of administrative assistant experience
