About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage operations excellence and operations support initiatives for the assigned region
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on training support, new site processing, existing site acquisition, operational excellence assessments, sales and financial analysis, reporting, and equipment distribution
  • Supervise franchise business consultants and promote their development and the development of the franchisees they serve
  • Foster close relationships with franchisees and consult on needs to promote sales, store count, PSA, and proper resource allocation
  • Hire, train, and supervise field franchise business consultants
  • Communicate policies and operational procedures to direct reports and franchisees
  • Keep the supervisor informed of pertinent business issues and opportunities
  • Ensure company quality standards are consistently met or exceeded and resolve out-of-specification issues
  • Provide leadership, direction, team development, tools, and resources to franchise business consultants
  • Travel within the region to support restaurant operations, conduct business reviews and assessments, and assist high-priority franchise businesses
  • Ensure timely operations reporting, including weekly schedules, objectives, period planners, and period-end reports
  • Assist with franchisee approval processes and lead new store openings and store acquisitions
  • Analyze data and trends and communicate operational excellence and compliance concerns
  • Work with research and development to implement new products, procedures, and communications
  • Provide input into the department budget, monitor it, and recommend variance explanations
  • Counsel franchisees on operational excellence, people culture, and training issues
  • Evaluate franchisee operations and allocate required resources
  • Develop materials, create presentations, and facilitate training
  • Use public speaking and storytelling to influence direct reports, franchisees, and cross-functional teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field, or equivalent leadership experience managing first-line leaders within the restaurant or retail industry
  • Minimum of five years' experience leading cross-functional teams, formally or informally
  • Experience demonstrating leadership through structured processes, informal team mentoring, and comprehensive project management
  • Strong relationship, team building and communication (written & verbal) skills
  • Demonstrated planning, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to lift and move up to 55 pounds and reach and move items from as high as six (6) feet and as low as six (6) inches off the ground
  • Ability to understand directions, instructions, and product specifications
  • Ability to travel by airplane and/or automobile
  • Interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Computer knowledge and expertise with Microsoft Office programs
  • Eagerness to learn other technology platforms
  • Preferred: Little Caesars operational experience, including certified Little Caesars training manager or regional manager experience with a proven record of profitability
  • Preferred: Multi-unit restaurant management or franchise management experience
  • Preferred: Point of Sale system experience
  • Preferred: Fiscal responsibility
