About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive new business acquisition, meeting or exceeding an annual revenue target of £1.5M+ in new sales
- Structure and negotiate multi-year, multi-trial contracts and build long-term partnerships
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract negotiation, closure, and handoff to delivery
- Engage senior decision-makers in pharmaceutical and biotech companies through thought leadership
- Position Trial Flow as a solution for clinical trial engagement and patient retention
- Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder deals with R&D, clinical operations, and procurement teams
- Manage the sales pipeline in HubSpot, including forecasting and deal tracking
- Collaborate with Product, Science, Tech, Marketing, Research, Regulatory, and Delivery teams
- Ensure client insights shape the product roadmap and evidence strategy
- Monitor industry trends, regulations, and competitor positioning
- Report to the Commercial Lead as part of the Commercial team
- Travel internationally to clients and events
Requirements
What you’ll need- Extensive and demonstrable enterprise sales experience, with a proven track record of selling complex solutions into pharmaceutical or biotech companies
- Established network of senior decision-makers and procurement stakeholders within pharmaceutical and biotech organisations, with the ability to leverage existing relationships to generate enterprise opportunities quickly
- Extensive experience coordinating RFP responses, bid submission and bid defence processes
- Experience managing complex sales cycles involving multi-stakeholder buying groups, formal procurement processes and senior decision-makers
- Strong commercial negotiation skills, able to craft strategic, high-impact deals
- Understanding of the pharma R&D lifecycle, particularly clinical trials and digital health technologies
- Proficiency in HubSpot or equivalent CRM and structured sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, SPIN, or Challenger Sales
- Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills
- Results driven, consultative, credible, collaborative, professional, adaptable, and low ego
