About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and evolve content strategy across Little Journey and Trial Flow
  • Align content priorities with participant needs, product goals and business priorities
  • Drive a commercially sustainable approach to content, maximising reuse and efficient adaptation
  • Define content principles, guidelines, guardrails, standards, governance and approval processes
  • Evolve educational, support, coping and product UI content experiences
  • Identify opportunities for content to improve participant outcomes, product engagement and customer value
  • Develop AI-assisted content generation and iteration workflows with quality controls and clinical validation
  • Own end-to-end Content Delivery, including generation, expert review, publishing, versioning and archival
  • Balance participant, clinical, product and commercial requirements
  • Improve content processes, tooling, automation and reuse for efficiency and scalability
  • Be accountable for localisation capability, quality, scalability and cost-effectiveness
  • Line manage and develop the Content Co-ordination Manager and Localisation Manager
  • Work with client stakeholders to align plans, manage feedback and resolve content issues
  • Commission and oversee freelancers and external contributors
  • Collaborate with Product, Delivery, Clinical, Design, Discovery, Commercial and other stakeholders
  • Define content effectiveness and operational metrics and connect content performance to company and product metrics
  • Use participant feedback, behavioural data, operational insights and stakeholder input to prioritise improvements
  • Report to the CPO within the Product team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Significant and demonstrable experience developing and implementing content strategy for digital products or platforms
  • Experience establishing content governance, standards and scalable content processes within the product function
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Design and subject matter experts to deliver high-quality content
  • Practical experience using generative AI to create or iterate content, with the curiosity and confidence to experiment with prompts, models and workflows while applying appropriate quality controls
  • Strong understanding of content lifecycle management
  • Experience using user insights and data to improve content effectiveness
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and organisational skills
  • Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience leading work through others, including setting direction, giving high-quality feedback and holding internal or external contributors accountable for outcomes
  • Familiarity with accessibility and inclusive content principles
  • Desirable: Experience managing multilingual content and localisation
  • Desirable: Experience in clinical trials or another regulated industry
  • Desirable: Financial understanding of content creation or previous P&L or cost ownership
  • Desirable: Experience with UX writing or information architecture
  • Desirable: Experience managing or configuring a Content Management System
  • Desirable: Experience designing content across broad age groups
  • Desirable: Understanding of behaviour change, patient education or health literacy principles
  • Must be able to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available
