About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design digital care pathways from clinical evidence and national guidance
- Decide which care steps require a prescriber, dietitian or coach and which can be delivered through content or automation
- Lead medicated weight management design from screening through planned discontinuation
- Design patient engagement approaches for starting, continuing and returning to programmes
- Set governance rules for AI coaching and route clinical questions to clinicians
- Build standard pathway blueprints that clients can deploy without bespoke builds
- Define outcomes data demonstrating value to commissioners and clients
- Shape and build the new programmes function
- Lead content and behavioural specialists and grow the function
- Work with internal and external stakeholders on delivery and product decisions
- Report to the VP Operations and present to the executive team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Clinical background
- Currently or previously registered with a UK or EU regulator: HCPC, GMC, NMC or GPhC
- Senior experience in obesity and type 2 diabetes care, ideally medicated weight management pathways
- Experience designing end-to-end care pathways in remote or digital settings
- Applied behaviour change expertise, with data showing outcomes achieved
- Experience leading specialists and influencing product, engineering and commercial teams
- Bonus: behavioural science or psychology training
- Bonus: SaaS health-tech experience
- Bonus: AI coaching governance experience
