About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide required physician supervision for nurse practitioners delivering infusion services in ambulatory infusion settings
  • Conduct quarterly, at minimum, virtual meetings with supervised nurse practitioners
  • Review clinical cases
  • Provide guidance and mentorship
  • Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and standards of care
  • Perform periodic chart reviews and quality assurance checks
  • Be available as needed for clinical consultation
  • Collaborate with clinical leadership on quality improvement initiatives
  • Support protocol development and updates
  • Support compliance with regulatory and payer requirements
  • Maintain appropriate documentation of supervisory activities as required by the state

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Active CO MD license and DEA license
  • Board certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., Gastroenterology, Rheumatology, or Neurology strongly preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with other healthcare professionals and educate patients and their families
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development
  • Commitment to ethical and legal healthcare delivery
  • Must provide physician supervision for nurse practitioners in accordance with state regulations in Colorado
