About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead day-to-day event recruitment and speaker contracting
  • Manage event timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional coordination
  • Track and maintain accurate data and analytics for medical education events
  • Oversee multiple events simultaneously with guidance from Strategic Partnership Directors
  • Collaborate with event planning, business development, and marketing teams for event execution
  • Provide timely internal updates, including issue identification and possible solutions
  • Prepare status reports for internal teams and clients
  • Share updates during weekly meetings
  • Streamline processes and develop operational efficiencies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • 1–3 years’ experience preferred
  • Preferred fields of study include communications, business, or related
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Detail oriented with the ability to multitask
  • Capable of working independently while keeping manager informed and aligned
  • Capable of identifying and addressing project issues with minimal supervision, while escalating as needed
  • Comfortable asking questions and thinking proactively to address potential obstacles
  • Hybrid, with 2 days per week in the Austin, TX office
