About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform advanced trade-specific repairs in electrical, plumbing, HVAC/refrigeration, carpentry, painting, locksmithing, and general maintenance
- Supervise and assist with scheduled, emergency, and preventive maintenance tasks
- Read and interpret fire panel codes and respond to alarms
- Apply egress and emergency procedures to ensure safety compliance
- Diagnose and resolve issues using MEP systems knowledge
- Manage inventory and order parts and materials
- Review and inspect completed work orders for accuracy and quality
- Respond to maintenance-related guest concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in work areas
- Collaborate with other departments for smooth operations
- Monitor energy consumption and assist with ADA compliance initiatives
- Administer key and tool control procedures
- Conduct property inspections
- Lead operations hands-on and support the team on the floor
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 3+ years of maintenance experience
- 1+ year of supervisory or lead experience preferred
- Working knowledge of Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Refrigeration and Life Safety operating systems
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, equipment operation and maintenance, record-keeping and reporting systems
- Knowledge of computer based operating systems
- Preferred knowledge of HotSOS, transcendent, luthron, JCI and Niagra
- Ability to stand, stoop, bend repetitively, pull, push, climb ladders, work outside, walk extensively and lift up to 75 lbs
- Valid Florida Driver’s License required
- EPA certification is a Plus
- Basic MEP knowledge preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and written with team members, leaders and guests required
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, nights, weekends and holidays as required
